Victory Design Studio

Victory Design Studio is very excited to provide The King's School PAC and Staff with this great Content Management System.

1. The first thing you will need to do is go to www.victorydesignstudio.com
   
   
2. Once there click on the Login on to VictoryCMS button in the top right of the page
   
   
3. Now you may login to the system.  Your login information was emailed to you.  If you forget your password please use the Recover Password feature.  The email address is the one you typically use on the website or to email Victory Design Studio.  If you are not sure about that and lost the email with your email and password please contact us.
   
   
4. Once logged into the Control Panel click on the www.tkspac.com website and a list of pages you may edit appear.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Click on the page you where your blog is located and your blog content will appear.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. Place your cursor at the beginning of the Current Header and hit enter twice.  Now go one line above the last header and click on the Insert Horizontal Line Button
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
7. A horizontal line will appear at the top of your content area.  Make sure there is one space between the line and the header just below so it does not look crowded.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. Move your cursor above the horizontal line.
   
   
9. Type in the Title of your Blog Post - (i.e. December Special Events)
   
   
10. Type in the Date you are entering the blog post
    
    
11. Type in the Content you want.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
12. Now you need to format it.
    
    
13. Highlight the Title and then in the Format dropdown box click on Header5
    
    
    
    
    
14. Highlight the Date and then in the Format dropdown box click on Header6
    
    
15. Highlight the Title and then in the Format dropdown box click on Paragraph
    
    
16. Add an extra line between the date and content as well as between each paragraph for a more professional look.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
17. Your new Blog posting will be formatted.  You may highlight text and click B for bold or other features in the tools menu.
    
    
18. Click on the Publish Page button at bottom of the page.

6. Make any edits and then click on the Publish Page button at bottom of the page.

PictoBrowser is a free web application that displays Flickr and Picasa images on websites and blogs.  It is a very easy way to add a photo gallery to your website.  Here are step by step instructions for adding one on any page of your website with our VictoryCMS.

** Make sure you have a Picasa Web Album already set up.

1. Go to http://pictobrowser.com/.  Read this entire page as it gives you an idea what you can create.
   
   
2. Click on the link in the top right called PictoBuilder.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the box for Picasa or Flickr - wherever you have your photos stored
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4.  Enter your login email address and click Continue
   
   
5. Click on Albums
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
6.  Choose the album you want to show
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
7.  Adjust the settings until your PictoBrowser looks just like you want it to look
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. Click on Get HTML Code at the top of the PictoBuilder
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
9. Highlight and copy the code
   
   
10. Login to VictoryCMS and open the webpage you want to place the PictoBuilder in.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
11. Start a new paragraph to define the area you will place the PictoBuilder and type the words "PictoBuilder" in the content.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
12. Click on the HTML Source button in the VictoryCMS toolbar.
    
    
13. Highlight the line that says "PictoBuilder" and then paste the code you copied overtop of it.  Click on image for full size picture.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
14. Click on HTML Source again to go back to the normal view. You should see a new line of text where the PictoBuilder will be inserted once published to your website - "Get the flash player here: http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer".
    
    
15. If you want to center the PictoBuilder on your page you will have to type in additional code.  Click on image for full size picture and to read code.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
16. Click on Publish Page.
    
    
17. Check your website to make sure all the additions are correct and that your PictoBrowser is working.
